Wildflowers

Wildflowers form the herb layer of the forest. Many wildflowers make dyes and medicines. Many species of wildflowers become endangered or extinct each year because of man - man destroying the forest, man polluting the air. This is affecting  wildflowers everywhere.

Wildflowers are very specific in the conditions they live in.  That is why many flowers can not live in a area that has been disturbed by man. Wildflowers have trouble competing against the so called " Introduced Wildflower Species."  Wildflowers that were once frequently found are now very rare.

Wildflowers are a mix of brilliant colors that could form the rainbow if put together. They have the smell of fresh air after a rain. Wildflowers are a glorious part of nature.

I was always told that flowers were fit for a princess. Each flower is like a gem glistening in the sun.
