Costumes/Makeup
| The Costume/Make-up Team designed
all the costumes and decided what the make-up on the performers would look
like, applying all of the stage make-up. They painted the camp T-shirts
and went shopping for all the things needed. Here is what the actors wore.
Janet wore a camp uniform a nightgown and a jacket. Josh wore a nightshirt,
shorts, a camp uniform and a jacket. Maggie wore a rain poncho, a camp
uniform and a jacket. Kim and Audra wore camp uniforms. Abby, Nicole, and
Amy wore camp uniforms and jackets. The girls camp uniforms had a picture
of their cabin, cabin 13. Josh's uniform had a picture of his cabin, cabin
11. The cabins were painted on white shirts by our costume design crew. |

| "I was a makeup artist, My job
entailed making sure that the make-up was perfect. That means that there
are no smuges on the performers face. Their hair is perfect, and making
sure that the performer has on the correct costume. I liked putting the
make-up on the performer. I also liked making the costumes , and going
to stores to buy supplies. And helping the grips bring the sets on and
off stage. Another thing I liked was making the bear costume we used felt,
fake nails and and a bear mask, and bear slippers. That's one think we
didn't use make-up for. All the rest was make-up, make-up make-up!" -Jessica

| "I was in make up and costume.
what we did was was we put on the performers make up. then we went to go
see if the performers make up was on dark enough from the back row. If
it was not dark enough the next seen when the performers came in to the
make up and costume room to give them more make up." - Sarah M. |
| "When I was part of the costume&make
up designers I always had something to do. I was either helping performers
get their costumes, learning how to put make up on performers, designing
the costumes, or making the costumes. I also had to go out and buy the
supplies, if I had nothing to do, someone found a job for me. As a costume
and make up designer, I felt like I was a big part of the opera. Without
costume and makeup designers the performers would go on the stage wearing
nothing. The performers would also look pale on stage because they wouldent
have any makeup on. So, without costume and makeup designers the opera
wouldn't be a hit."- Melanie B. |
| "I put make-up on the performers and designed their costumes. We made their shirts and bought their matching shorts. We decided how the hair is going to be, and what their suitcases were. The shirt had a cabin int the front. On the back it had the cabin
on and the name of the camp. The camp's name was N.C.B, or Never Coming
Back. " -Alyssa T. |
