Kentucky has six regions, Bluegrass, Pennyroyal, Knobs, Eastern Coal Fields, Western Coal Fields, and the Jackson Purchase. I am going to tell you a little about two of them. First the Bluegrass, it was the first to be settled. Why you ask because it had a lot of rich farmland. Did you know more than half of the people that live in Kentucky live in the bluegrass  region. Louisville, Lexington, and Frankfort are located here. These are the three largest cities in Kentucky

Now I am going to tell you about the Pennyroyal region. The Pennyroyal region is the largest region. It also has good farmland. It has gently rolling hills, flat lands, and lots of underground springs. Mammoth Cave is also located here. Now that you know a little about these two regions get ready to take a quiz.
