It also treats bronchitis, the flu and coughs. It helps cure stomach ulcers. People use it as for bleeding gums and conditions for the mouth and throat. Witch Hazel mixed with sunflower oil is a great massage oil for the muscles. Witch Hazel like Sage is also a deodorant.
Witch Hazel grows to be 5-15 feet tall. It ranges throughout the eastern half of North America. It does well in full sun and average soils. It is a small shrub or tree that blooms in the fall.
