URANUS

     Uranus is a gas planet made of helium, hydrogen, and methane. It has eleven rings made of some dark materials. Uranus has 15 moons, and black spots of spinning gases resembling a hurricane. 1,786,400 miles lie between Uranus and the sun.

     William Herschel discovered Uranus in 1781. It has a diameter of 31,763 miles. One of many weird things about Uranus is that it is on its side. Uranus may have odd weather conditions. It takes seventeen hours and fourteen minutes for one day on Uranus. The north and South Pole of Uranus both have forty-two year days and nights. The interior of Uranus is a-220 degrees Celsius.

     The ocean temperature is 4,200 degrees Fahrenheit. The core temperature is 12,600 degrees Fahrenheit. The color of the planet is bluish green. The clouds are made of crystal and methane.
