Bucky Lasek

Bucky Lasek was born December 3, 1972 in Baltimore, Massachusetts. He started skateboarding at 13, and picked up the sport quickly. Bucky is said to be nice and outgoing, with an awesome trick style. It ttok him 5 years of practise to get to the top, and he has been a pro since 1989. He loves to skateboard vert (as apposed to street) and joins Tony hawk and Andy McDonald as the only skateboarders to ever win the gold in the X-Games vert compititions. Also, Tony and bucky both live in Carlsbad, California. Some of his sponsors are: Pro Tech Helmets, Boneless Pads, Birdhouse Skateboards, and Billabong. Bucky skateboards regularly at Encinitas YMCA, which is the local skatepark ( also where Jamie Thomas, pro skateboarder, lives). He has been seen signing hundreds of autographs and even giving away some of his pads to the awaiting fans.
