Rune Glifberg

Rune was born 1976 in Copenhaben, Denwark. When Rune was 11, one of his best freinds brought back a skateboard from America. Rune's life would never be the same. He quit playing soccer, bought his own board, and was practicing skateboarding all day long. When Rune started skateboarding, there were very few pros in Denmark, so Rune was quickly becoming popular with his progressing skill. At 18 he became a pro . In 1996 Rune's sponsor advised that he move to America so he could perform in more competitions. Rune did move, and now lives in Huntingtonn, California. In the smmer of 2000, Rune was skteboarding on his favorite vert course with his regular-footed-stance, when he went off a ramp and broke his ankle! Ouch! Some of Rune's sponsors are Flip Skateboards, Speed Demon's Wheels, Volcom, CCS, and Ricta Wheels.
