Bob Burnquist is a native Brazilian and is another awesome pro skateboarder. He continues to stun audiences with his unique style and switch-stance tendencies. He won the first pro contest he entered and has been winning pro competitions ever since. Going back to his early life, Bob was born as Robert Dean Silva Burnquist on October 6, 1976 in Rio De Janeiro, but he grew up in Sao Palo, Brazil. He started skating at the tender age of 11 and loved it. When he moved to America, he settled down in Daly City, California where he skates many times daily. Recently, Bob has been practicing skateboarding with a goofy-footed stance instead of his usual regular-footed stance. He says that it is like learning to skate all over again. Skateboarding isn’t Bob’s only pastime – he also plays soccer, surfs, and snowboards.
