He goes inside the cottage and is met by a little white cat. They are cautious around each other at first, but over the sharing of food they become close. Bill's family decided that New England was to crowded and wanted to leave. During the move Bill was lost. To find out what happened to Bill and if he ever found his family you have to read the story.

The ending is funny and a surprise. This is a story you should like.
