What kind of food is at the Jazz Fest? Where does the food come from? There is a lot of food at the Jazz Fest. For instance: fried plantains, jama jama, grilled veggie pita, and some grilled steak pita.
The food comes from places all over the world such as Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Brazil, France, Cuba, Vietnam, Greece, Creole, Spain, and Cajun.
The food at the Jazz Fest usually costs under $5. The food booths are arranged in four groups. Three groups are are in the infield. The other one is outside the track, in The Grandstand. Some of the dishes served are Crawfish Bread, Cochon de Lait, and the Softshell Crab Po-boy.
