Oscar Charleston compiled a lifetime batting average of .353 during his 27-year career.  He also played 10 years as a player-manager.  He would often be very fancy while playing.  For example, on a high fly ball, he would sometimes charge in, do a flip and make the catch!  Plus, he helped convince Branch Rickey of the Brooklyn Dodgers to sign Roy Campanella.  Oscar was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1976.
