Martin Dihigo was probably the most versatile player ever to play the game of baseball. He played all nine positions and hit well, too. One year, he led the league in ERA (earn run average) with a terrific 0.90! Once, when he was on third base, he yelled to the pitcher, "You balked!" Then, while the pitcher held onto the ball, he walked home and was in the dugout before anyone thought of tagging him. Plus, in 1938, he threw the first no-hitter in the Mexican League history. He is also the only player in the Mexican, Cuban, Venezuelan and American Hall of Fame!
