There were many players that had an effect on the Negro Leagues. Some even hold all-time world records. The Negro Leagues were brought to an end around 1960 when the color barrier was broken. The color barrier was the segregation (separation of black people and white people) of black and white baseball, it was broken by Jackie Robinson being admitted to the major leagues.
