Fire of the Holocaust

 

Image of the letter Adolf Hitler was known as the most destructive man in the 20th century. He was the leader of National Socialist German Workers Party (NAZI). He despised the Jews and tortured and killed them during the ghastly Holocaust. The timeline below is all about Hitler's life and hatred towards the Jews.

Racism led to the infamous Holocaust. Hitler's greed for conquest finally led to World War II. He killed more then 6 million Jews. The Holocaust occurred

Adolf Hitler's father, Alios Schicklbruber, changed his last name when he went to live with his uncle who's last name was Hidler. Although whenever Alios wrote his last name it would be spelled Hitler. He married and had two children - Alios Jr. and Angela. When his wife died he remarried. She finally had a child named Adolf and soon Edmund and Paula.

1889

Adolf Hitler (German) was born on April 20, 1889 6:30 pm in Braunan Am Inn of Austrian. His father was Alios Hiedler and his mother was Klara Polzl. His nickname was Adi.

He dreamed of becoming an artist or architect but was twice rejected to go to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.

1913

Hitler moves to Munich, Germany to avoid military service in the Hapsburg Empire, which he hated.

1914-1918

Adolf Hitler was a soldier during World War II. He was a very lucky man during this time. During one of the battles everyone died but he was one of the few to survive.

1929

It was the Depression that gave Hitler a chance for power. Germany was being hit the hardest with the Depression and people were ready listen to an extremist like Hitler. He had promised to take violent measures if he won power. He was able to raise money from German industrialists who feared a Communist revolution and believed Hitler would stop it.

1933

On January 30th, he was appointed counselor of Germany.

February 28th, after the elections, the Nazis set the Reischstag building on fire and blamed it on the communists. The communists were expelled from the parliament and the remaining deputies granted Hitler dictatorial powers. Emergency powers were granted to Hitler as a result of the Reichstag fire.

Hitler was dictator of Germany from 1933 - 1945. He blamed the Jews for Germany's defeat in World War I and for the problems that plagued Germany after the war. Hitler argued that the future of Germany's race could only be assured by colonizing large territories in the east and settling them with Germans.

1934

Between Jan 30, 1933, and June 30, 1934, Hitler carried out a radical revolution that placed the police and the power of the state under his control.

On August 2, Hitler became Fuhrer (leader) of the National Socialist German Worker Party (Nazi) when German president dies.

August 14, Hitler gets 90% yes votes from German voters approving his new power.

1938

September 29- Munich Conference: Britain and France allow Hitler to annex part of Czechoslovakia in order to prevent war.

The expansion of Germany territory began when Hitler's army marched into Austria and Czechoslovakia.

1939

Poland triggered the World War ||, a war that lasted for almost five years and cost the lives of almost 50 million people.

1945

April 30- Hitler committed suicide when the war is over for Germany. Russian troops were already fighting in the ruined streets of Berlin.
