Everglades National Park (ENP) is located in South Florida and covers 1.4 million acres. The park, however, only makes up one-fifth of the entire Everglades area. The main entrance to ENP is 10 miles west of Homestead, Florida.

Many environments are found in the park.  Some habitats include the bay head, willow head, cypress dome, pinelands, hardwood hammock, sawgrass marsh, mangroves, and Florida Bay.  There are many more, but these are the main environments.
