CT: Realism and joy of the human body and expression. Sculptures were
classical and based on many Roman gods.
Us: Did artists of the Renaissance go to collage to learn about
art?
CT: No they did not. I mean were talking about the 1400's people were
brought up around painters and sculptors.
Us: Who were some people famous for their sculpting?
CT: Well, one very important sculptor was Botticelli. He was an
artist around the High Renaissance. Although Botticelli was famous
for just his sculpting, Leonardo was a famous for his painting,
mathematics, designing war guns and helicopters and many other
things. So how can you compare a famous sculptor to a famous
everything else besides sculpting?
