Tchaikovsky
When Peter Tchaikovshy was young, he showed talent for the piano even though he didnt start composing until he was 21. He was the first Russian composer whose music was a part of the regular concert program in western Europe.
Tchaikovsky is famous for his ballets: Swan Lake (1876); The Sleeping Beauty (1889); and The Nutcracker (1892).
In 1893 he died of cholera in St. Petersburg. He was 53 years old.
