Beethoven was deaf, which meant he could not hear anything, but he still had a love for music. You see Beethoven was not always deaf. He didn't become until the late 1790’s .
But even though he couldn't hear, he remembered the sounds in his head and composed some of the greatest music you will ever hear.
Mozart himself told the world that in a few years Beethoven would be heard througout the world. He even said Beethoven might put him out of business. And, just like he said, Beethoven became one of the greatest composers ever!!
