Nessie Stories

There have been about 50 hunts to search and kill Nessie, with rewards for over $10,000.00. In 1956, a college student was riding home on his motorcycle. He decided to take a short cut along the banks of Loch Ness. When he started up the one lane road, he saw a giant black thing. He rushed over and saw a giant monster with red-hot, fiery eyes, sharp teeth and huge strong flippers. He quickly turned around and went to the newspaper editor. The editor thought he was crazy, but the student urged him to come with him. The editor went with him to where the student saw the monster. There were footprints that were still wet. The footprints were 20 inches long, 10 inches wide and pointed at the heel. Then the student brought an animal hunter to see the prints. He said that the prints were faked. He said they were probably made by a pattern. The student said they couldn’t have been made by patterns because he saw the monster. After awhile, scientists figured out that the footprints were a fake. But what did the student see?

Another sighting was on the water. One day, a speed boater was trying to set a new world speed record. He was traveling at 210 miles per hour when a wake, about two feet high, hit his boat. The boat exploded, killing him. No one knows what made the wake. Some say it was Nessie, but some say there were bubbles that came from under the water that caused the wake.
