Foreign Names
Bigfoot has many names. The Hoppa call it, ‘Aohmaha’, or ‘Aohmah, for short. The Kwakiutl called it, ‘Atusonokwa'. The Manitobans called it, ‘Aweeketow’. The Seminoles called it a name meaning, ‘sand man’. The Clallam and Quinault called it ‘seeahtik’. They said the seeahtiks were half human and half monster, and could make themselves invisible. Cryptozoologists (people that study cryptids) think that seeahtiks are another version of Bigfoot.
