Distortions
Distortions are illusions where a line, shape, or color is added to a shape to make it look different from its original shape.

Which Circle in the Middle of the flowers is bigger?
They are the same size. The circles around them only make them seem smaller or larger.

Are the two lines in the middle bent or parallel ?
They are parallel, the bent lines in the background just make the two lines seem bent.

Is it a circle in the middle or an uneven oval?
It is a circle. The lines in the back only make it look uneven.

You may remember this one from above.  This time are they bent outward or are they parallel?
They are really parallel but the lines make our minds think they are bent.

Are These lines parallel?
Yes the lines are all parallel.

Are the top lines of both trapezoids congruent?
Both of the top lines are congruent.

Does the line on the left come out on top on the right or on the bottom?
It comes out on the bottom. If you don't believe us take out something with a straight edge and see for yourself.

Are all these lines parallel?
Yes all of the lines are parallel. The lines crossing over the tops of the parallel lines in different directions make you think they are not parallel.

Are the lines congruent?
It is amazing but these lines are congruent.  It does not appear congruent  because of the arrows at the ends of the lines.
