The Harry S Truman Courtroom and Office is a restored office and courtroom used by Truman in the 1930’s. They present a sound and light show. It is located in Independence Square. The 1827 Log Courthouse is the first courthouse in Jackson County and was the courtroom of Judge Harry S Truman in 1932. It is located at 107 West Kansas in Independence.

 

 

        The Victorian mansion built in 1885 served as the summer White House during the Truman administration and is a National Historical Site. 

    

     

    The Harry S Truman Library and Museum is one of them. It is one of 10 presidential libraries. It’s located at 500 W. US 24 Highway, Independence, Missouri (adjacent to Kansas City).
