Penguins

King Penguin

The second largest penguin in the world standing 95 cm tall and weighing 15 kilograms is the King penguin. There are only one or two differences between king penguins and emperor penguins. Emperors are bigger of course but you can't always tell just by looking at them. The other way is that king penguins have more orange on their breasts than king penguins. Plus emperor penguins look thinner. King penguins' normal predators are leopard seals and sharks. Their normal prey are crustaceans, small fish, squid and plankton. One thing that is stranger about these penguins then other animals is that they have an unusually long breeding season.

Emperor Penguins

The largest penguin is the emperor penguin. It can be up to a meter in height and weigh up to 30 kilograms. Like other penguins it has feathers that have a grease in them that causes it to be water proof.
