Ashley- I'm in the 6th grade. My hobbies are playing basketball and talking to my friends. I am very SOCIAL. I chose this topic because last year I studied fashion with some of my friends and I didn't learn very much. I wanted to learn more in depth facts. I like learning about the changes in fashion that occurs and how it goes along with what's going on in the world. I like seeing what other people wear and what they think is in style. I like to know the most up-to-date styles. I wanted to study something that interested and I read magazines all of the time. It just interests me.

Katie-I am in 6th grade. My hobbies are softball and basketball. In my spare time I am usually on the phone or with my friends. I chose this topic because I read magazines all of the time and I decided to put my fashion knowledge to use. I am really into fashion also. I thought that it would be a really cool topic too. |

Nick - 6th Grade-"I chose this topic because I like to be "in style". I also have good taste in hair and clothes. I like sporty styles like Old Navy, Arizona, Abercrombie...all that stuff. Some of my hobbies are swimming, basketball, baseball and art. I am on Swim Independence swim team. I like the Tolkien books. I learned a lot from studying this topic.

Ms. Sallee- Ms. Sallee was our coach for the Think Quest Competition. The thing she enjoys most about teaching is "Seeing the light bulb come on when kids really begin to understand. " The thing she likes least about teaching is "seeing her kids leaving at the end of the year." She likes to go antiquing, traveling, reading, and gardening. |
