The Signals

Facemasking- When a defensive man grabs an offensive man's face mask.

First Down- When a team gets the 10 yards or more and earns another set of 4 downs.

Offsides- When a defense or offense man is not behind the line of scrimmage when the quarter back calls down set.

Touchdown- When a player crosses the goal line by running on or catching a forward pass.

Personal Foul- When a player uses unnecessary contact on another player or an official.

Holding- When a offensive or defensive player grasps and holds on to another player.


Incomplete- When a player misses a catch, a forward pass touches the ground, or an offensive man catches the ball with 1 or both feet out of bounds.		Safety- When an offensive player has possession of the ball and is tackled in his own end zone.
