Main Facts-

The arctic fox grows up to 3 feet long, 1 foot high, and weighs 5-11 lbs. Arctic foxes are growing to be extinct. This animal has short ears, and long fur, which helps preserve body heat. The arctic fox lives in polar regions. They live in small groups with 1 adult male, the rest are females and young.

Hunting and feeding-

These foxes are carnivores and eat marine animals. Like rodents, birds, and carrion. They will mostly follow polar bears and eat their left-overs.

Reproduction of young-

For a period of 50-63 days, the female will wait for pups to be born. Breeding comes once a year in late winter. The father will go to hunt food for these young.
