Carbohydrates are mostly to provide energy, but they also help construct nerves and cells. Carbohydrates are good, but only if you have the right amount. One big part of Carbohydrates is sugars. Not the sugars you put in cookies, dietary sugars. They are called Sucrose and Fructose. Sugars can be found in fruits, berries, vegetables, and honey. Sugars can help, but they can also ruin your dental hygiene. It does not matter how much you take in, but how often they are taken in. Eating them too often can cause cavities. Another big part of carbohydrates is Fibers. Fibers help to make sure that your organs are working right. If your an athlete, you should get a lot of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates not only fill you up before a game, but they can improve the way you play.
