The Koala

The Koala may look like it is a small bear, but it is actually a mammal and a marsupial. The name Koala, came from the the aborigines, meaning, "no drink". The Koala lives on the Eucalypt tree.

80% of the Koalas time is spent in the Ecalypt tree, sleeping. Male Koalas are bigger than Female Koalas.

At night you can hear it "barking" at other Koalas. Around the same time it will get down from its home and search for something to eat.

It feeds on Ecalypt foliage.
