The Red Kangaroo is the largest Kangaroo of the 60 species. Their weight is 18kg to 90kg. The Males are usually bigger than the Females. Their height is 74 to140cm.
Their tail (needed for jumping) is 64cm to 1 meter long. They live up to around 15 years.
Joeys( baby kangaroos) stay in their mothers pouch for 5-6 months.
The Red Kangaroo eats herbaceous plants, and a variety of grasses.
When predators come, such as the Dingo, they thump on the ground with their hind legs to warn others.
