The White-Tail Spider

Lampona cylindrata is the most common species of the White-Tail spider. Drassidae is its family.

The white tail spider has reddish legs and is a dark color .

A white mark is at the end of the abdomen. The female White-tail spider is 14mm long and eats ants, silver fish, and other insects.

The bite of a White-Tail Spider is nasty but it is not deadly.

This Spider is found all over Tasmania and Australia.

They are found usually up high in ceilings and in the dark.
