Western Plateau Australia can be divided into three topographical regions- the Western Plateau, the Central Lowlands, and the Eastern Highlands.
The Western Plateau or the Australian Shield, is the largest region.
Because there is hardly any water, the region only has one major city, Perth, which is located near the coast.
In Australia, the deserts are known for their redness. Great Sandy and Great Victoria allow that to happen.
Between these two deserts lie the Gibson Desert, which has alot of pebbles and rocks instead of sand.
MacDonnel and Musgrave mountain ranges, are east of the deserts.
Along the great Australian Bight is the abandoned Nullarbor Plain.
