Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain is about a kid named Tom and a kid named Huckleberry Finn. These two teenagers cause problems and trouble. I think that Tom is the worst of the two. Gold Rush Facts The Gold Rush was huge for people around the world. Everybody wanted to head to California to go digging for gold in 1848. The first person to find gold during the Gold Rush was James Marshall. The number of gold diggers in the Gold Rush increased in 1852. Most of the gold was found in San Francisco and Sutter's Mill. As soon as people found gold, they would become rich by selling the gold unless they didn't have much. |
