Wecome to the Macedonian Website! We hope to show you about the Ptolemaic Dynasy. The Ptolemaic Dynasty were the final rulers of Egypt before Roman take over. Did you know that Cleopatra along with all other Ptolemies weren't Egyptian? Thanks to Alexander the Great, king of Macedonia, who conquerd Egypt whith ease because it was lazy and rich $_$! Egypt was then a Macedonian provence left to the Ptolemies to fight over in the following years. Alexander established his capital at Alexandria. The Ptolemies didn't adopt the Egyptian culture. However, they did build Egyptian temples to keep their people happy. Cleopatra was the first to learn the Egyptian laungage. To find out more click on one of the names to the right.
