DNA stands for Deoxyribonucleic Acid. DNA is a double helix with a line of two chromosomes like: --. These chromosomes make up that persons traits. Like if they have brown hair, blue eyes, or anything else. These things also include if they are a boy or girl. You inherit these chromosomes from both your parents. They each give you half.
