Many
Americans now began to look at Japanese Americans differently.
Japanese Americans whose families had lived in America for generations
and were loyal American citizens were thought of as possible
enemies. Within just a few weeks, plans were being made to send
all Japanese Americans to internment camps where most of them
would have to live until the war was over. |
