My name is Scott. I am 10
years old and a fifth grader at Kapolei Elementary School. I enjoy bowling,
rollerblading, soccer, and karate. After doing this project, I learned
that when people have differences, they should solve their problem by
talking things over before turning to violence and war.

Hello, my name
is Jacob. I am 11 years old and a 5th grader at Kapolei Elementary. My
hobbies are playing baseball, strumming on the ukulele, and racing slot
cars. I learned one important lesson from doing this project: you cannot
solve anything by going to war. War deceives and destroys, and violence
should not be a choice when solving problems. |

Hi, my name is
Dean. I am 10 years old and in the 5th grade. My favorite sports are football
and basketball. From this project I learned that there are no winners
in a war. I also learned that people should get together to work as a
team, or cooperate, so that they can live in harmony on earth. |

Hi! My name is
Ryan. I am 10 years old. I like to collect and build models, especially
military ones. I also like to read military history books. From this project
I learned that there are better ways to solve problems than to have people
die and suffer in a war. If people have differences, they should discuss
the problem together and work out a solution that is beneficial or fair
to all. |

Aloha! My name
is Patrick. I am 9 years old. I like to listen to Hawaiian music and play
the ukulele. From this project, I learned that fighting (and war) does
not solve problems. It makes things worse and more complicated. We should
solve problems peacefully by talking things out and not being afraid to
say sorry. |

Hi! I'm John.
I am 9 years old and in the 4th grade. My hobbies are reading, playing
soccer, working on the computer, and playing video games. Two things I
learned from this project was what really happened on December 7, 1941
and the reasons why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. I now realize that if
everyone had good values such as peace, love, cooperation, and respect
for each other, there wouldn't be wars. |
