Largemouth bass will eat almost anything. They will bite on minnows, worms or any other live bait. Bass like the weeds and other dark places. you can use a wheedles bait to catch them. The Best fishing time for catching them is in early morning and evening and warm months. They can be found in the northern counties. Largemouth spawn from late April to early July. They start nesting in 60ºF   waters. Eggs are laid in 62-65°F. The male largemouth bass will make their nest out of roots, twigs, and snail shells.

Smallmouth bass are the scrappiest fish of all Wisconsin. It lives near rocks were its favorite food, the crayfish, is abundant. They are located lakes and streams. Some of the best lake fishing takes place in June, and early fall.
