There are many types of space technology used to explore space. Rockets, space shuttles, satellites, telescopes, and space stations. Without them, space exploration would be impossible.

Rockets and space shuttles help transport people to space. Satellites, telescopes, and space stations help people explore space. They also help us understand space better by taking pictures of stellar objects.

Rockets and space shuttles might bring us to different planets and stars someday. The ISS (International Space Station) began construction in 1998. It should be finished in 2004. It will house up to 700 astronauts with a connection of modules as big as two football fields. There might also be a satellite that can take pictures far beyond what we have today.
