Matthias: From: Redwall

Matthias is an outsider who lives in Redwall. Matthias is a mouse. Abbot Mortimer remembers when Matthias was banging on the doors, begging to be taken in. He was only a dibbun. When Cluny attacks Redwall, Matthias finds Martin's equipment, and fights against Cluny. He kills Cluny, but Cluny kills Abbot Mortimer with a poison barb on his tail.

Methuselah: From: Redwall

Methuselah is a mouse. He helps Matthias find the Martins sword by solving riddles. Chickenhound killed Methuselah with a bag of stolen pots and pans. He hit him right in the head.

Speary: She is a spearow. She saves Mathias from King Bull Spara. When Spara dies She becomes the leader of the Sparrows. Then Speary forms an alliance with the Redwallers and fight against Clunny.

Dotti: From: Lord Brocktree

Dotti is a young haremaid that is traveling toward Salamandastron. She is an important key to making Bucko Bigbones join Brocktree.

Brocktree: From: Lord Brocktree

Brocktree is a badger that is trying to find a way to free Salamandastron from Ungatt Trunn's grip. He meets up with Dotti and Bucko Bigbones. He then raises an army and crushes Ungatt Trunn, literally. He paralyzes Ungatt Trunn.

Bucko Bigbones: From: Lord Brocktree

Bucko is a march hare that lives in the mountains, explaining his Irish or Scottish accent. He fights Dotti in a contest, but loses, then allowing himself and his hares to be recruited in Brocktree's army.

Grenn: From: Lord Brocktree

Grenn is the Logalog (Or leader) of the G.U.O.S.I.M. Shrews. Short for The "Guerilla Union Of Shrews In Mossflower". She allows the G.U.O.S.I.M. to be recruited in Brocktree's army.

Skittles: From: Lord Brocktree

Skittles isn't really important to the quest, but he does make a lot of trouble in the story. He gets into mischief, which causes constant searches for him.

Stiffener: From: Lord Brocktree

Stiffener is a boxing hare from Salamandastron, and is very loyal to Lord Brocktree. He helps the remaining free hares from Salamandastron escape.

Brian Jacques once again thrills his audience with a brilliant and smooth story! But this time, he tells about the wildcat Ungatt Trunn who is trying to take over Salamandastron. He does take over Salamandastron, but Brocktree, a soon-to-be badger lord, gathers an army and crushes Ungatt Trunn.

Information on Redwall

The Redwallers find out that Cluny, who's suppose to be a myth to make children go to bed, is real and is coming to Redwall. Matthias, a common field mouse, won't let this happen. He creates an army with the Gousim shrews, Spearows, and Redwallers. To kill Cluny Matthias thinks he must find Martin's sword. He kills the holder of the sword, who is Asmodeus, a giant adder, and takes the sword. During one of Cluny's raids, Matthias kills him.
