Short Tips

Hi, my name is Carly and I'm going to tell you a couple of short snowboarding tips. Listen carefully because this could be a help just in case you get in trouble on the slopes.

• You might want to take a lesson to learn the basics.
• It would be better if you wore a helmet.
• Find out whether you are more comfortable with left foot forward or right foot forward.
• When you get to the top of the mountain put your bindings on and stand up.
• Put your shoulders parallel to the snowboard.
• If you get going too fast, turn so that your back is facing the top of the mountain and lean back just a little. That's how you slow down or stop.
• Keep doing this until you get to the bottom.
• Soon you'll be doing big tricks.
