Old Timers

In the 1930's skiing was only meant for downhill. In 1936 the winter games were first introduced to Austria. Austria and Switzerland have the first ever alpine skiing resorts.There is also some other events in skiing which consist of freestyle which is most common. Snow boarding is a type of skiing, but with one large ski. In the past sixty years students around the world have grown up around skiing. Skiing is known all around the world and is fun if you wear the right equitment and stay safe.
