The Throgs Neck Bridge

            The Throgs Neck Bridge connects the Bronx and Queens which are two of the five boroughs in New York City. The main span is 1,800ft. It was built in 1961, to ease traffic on the Whitestone Bridge. The bridge goes over the Long Island Sound in New York City.

The Bronx Whitestone Bridge

         The Bronx Whitestone Bridge connects the Bronx and Queens which are two of the five burrows in New York City.The Bridge goes over the east River in New York City.The Bridge opened in 1939. The main span is 2300ft.

The Mackinac Bridge

           The Mackinac Bridge is located in Michigan. The bridge is five miles long.  The main span is 3800ft. and 11,350 people worked on making the bridge.  People began construction on the bridge on May 7, 1954. The Mackinac Bridge opened on November 1, 1957.

The San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge

            Many people thought that the bridge would be impossible to build but they were wrong. The bridge opened in 1936. It stretches over the San Francisco Bay in California. The main span is 2300ft.
