We checked our meters Monday March
5th and March 12th.
On Monday the 5th for electric meter
read 6-2-2-7 On Monday 12th the electric meter read 7-2-5-9. So
subtract them and you will get 1032. Now to figure your bill you
multiply the kilowatt hours used by .0570700 (1032 X .0570700).
This comes out to $ 628.82 for the week. This works out to a daily
usage of $ 89.83 per day on the average.
On Monday the 5th and Monday the 12th
we checked the meter. On Monday the 5th it read 7-7-8-4-9. On
Monday the 12th it read 9-5-3-7-1. You subtract them and you get
17522. Now multiply this reading by the local conversion factor,
and you get 1752.2. Multiply that times the local rate of .4449
and you get a total of $779.56 for the week. This works out to
an average daily usage of $111.37.
You can do the same as us and figure
your schools or homes electric and gas bills. Just use the same
steps we did.
