Nobody Likes A Rainy Day
One spooky rainy night, two kids were stuck out in the woods with no place to go. They searched and searched and they finally found a little cabin.Through the window you could see a flicker from a candle, so they decided to knock on the door. The kids names were Amanda, who loved to dance, Ashley who loved sports, and Chris who was really smart. Kimmie wanted to come but she was sick. Ashley dared Amanda to knock on the door. Amanda said, " No way! Are you crazy?" Ashley decided that someone had to knock, so she said that Chris had to. Chris was willing enough, and since he was the only boy, he wanted to look brave, and he did. Right as he knocked, rain started coming down. They found the door was unlocked, so they went in. They looked across the room, and the candle went out. They said, "Is anyone here?" From across the room they heard someone say "No!" They said " Hey wait a minute, who said that then?" It said, "Well you might as well know." And then it turned on the light. We saw the most horrible looking creature that we had ever seen! He said, "My name is Fred and I'm a monster. Don't tell anyone but I'm afraid of the dark! I came in here to get out of the rain. I hate the rain!!" "Well Fred, we'll keep you company." So they had hot chocolate and played cards the rest of the night.
