One windy Saturday in February, our team met at Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum to
prepare for this segment of our website.
The museum is located in Beaumont, Texas on Highway
69 and University Drive. Gladys City was built in the mid-1970's
as a bicentennial project on the campus of Lamar University.
