The Broussard
Livery Stable




The livery stable was established by Alex Broussard at the time of the boom. As you can tell in the photograph above, business was booming in 1903.



Mr. Broussard went into the funeral business by accident. He was called on to haul coffins from the railroad to private citizens' homes. He received so much business that he began selling funeral goods.
