The Walkenshaw
Tank Company

The Walkenshaw Tank Company built both wooden and metal tanks for oil storage. The oil tanks were made on site and in a variety of sizes.

The Walkenshaw Tank Company building at the Gladys City Museum is not set up at this time to replicate a tank company. Presently, the building is housing a 1929 Fageol Oil tank truck which was restored and donated by the Gulf Oil Company. In addition, there is an antique Ford.
