Alabama Space and Rocket Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama
U. S. Space Camp is located here.  It’s an excellent museum with Saturn 5 plus many other rockets displayed here.

Craters of the Moon Nationa Monument, near Arco, Idaho
All about volcanoes, cones, lava flows.  It’s very comprehensive and informative

Geological Museum, Exhibition Road, London, England
An excellent lunar display, showing large rocks and a nice panel display on the geological history of the Moon.

Hawaii Volcanoes Nation Park, Hawaii
The greatest of all volcano parks.  Here you will learn about volcanoes and maybe even see an eruption.

Meteor Crater, Arizona, Visitor’s Center
The world’s first documented impact crater.  A hole in the ground near Flagstaff with a fine museum describing the incident.

National Museum of Natural History, Washington, D. C.
The Smithsonian’s Mall museum with displays of large moon rocks, great lunar history exhibits.

National Air and Space Museum, Washington, D. C.
The best display here is the Apollo to the Moon display.  Houses mockups, Apollo Spacecraft, and memorabilia.  A must see for the true space buff.

Noordwijk Space Expo, ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands
The European Space Agency research center’s visitor museum.  A real Apollo Lunar Module is housed here.   Not much on the moon and lunar history here.

Space Center Houston, Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas
A kids' place of space exploration and discovery.  A display of Apollo 17 Command Module with lots of fun activities to do some “hands and feet on” learning.

Spaceport USA, Kennedy Space Center, near Cocoa, Florida
Has a real Saturn 5, the vehicle assembly building, and a Lunar Module.

Sunset Crater National Monument, near Flagstaff, Arizona
A preserved cinder cone and lava flow, with a short trail that allows you to see volcanic geology up close.  Take you bike for ride on the trails, too.
