The Salisbury Zoo has a great staff including six zookeepers. The zookeepers are Vic Volkommer, Ann Kuntze, Jennifer Goetz, Dave Williamson, Dan Ciancitto, and Marty Dearie. They were kind enough to allow us a behind-the-scenes look at their work. We saw them perform some of their daily tasks while on a tour with a Wildlife Interpreter named Sue. She volunteers at the zoo. All volunteer go through training at the zoo. You can volunteer as early as 14 years old! Cool, huh?
