First position is very simple. You stand up straight, heels together, toes almost straight out, and legs stiff. ( You want to make sure that your legs are tight at all times.) Your hips must be square, and have relaxed shoulders

Arms are rounded down and the hands are relaxed. Arms are circled below the hips.

Second is also very simple-It's just like first but your legs are separated more than your shoulder width.

Second position-arms are rounded around the chest but not close to the body.

Third is more difficult- Put your right or left heel in front of your other foot, right or left , your front foot heel should be in about the middle of the back foot.

Third position-one arm is rounded over the head and the other is out- ward, away from the body like in second.

Fourth is very simple if you can do third- All you have to do is stand in third first and then take a small step forward with the front foot, and with the back foot, take a small step back.

Fourth position-one arm is over the head like in third but the other one is rounded in front of the body.

Fifth position is third position but you line up your heel and toe.

For fifth position, the arms are rounded over the head.

With all of these positions, make sure that your legs are tight and your hips are squared.
